Amber Batchelor reported on the chamber accomplishments for 2024 and upcoming goals and initiatives for chamber divisions: Agriculture, Business Education, Business Development, Governmental Affairs, and Leadership. Reports were shared by Division chairs. Community collaborations were recognized, as well as awards and recognition to Lifetime Achievement Honoree, Velma Coley. State Representative Patty Stinson joined in the induction of Qaijuan Willis into the Chairman's Circle. Several chamber members received awards.
Amber concluded the event by sharing that she would be stepping down as CEO to pursue other business opportunities and announced Carla Hawkins as the new interim CEO of the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce. More to come!
